Art Outside of School

At 1:00 on the first Saturday of every month the EK Powe cafeteria is full of the noise of scratching pencils, squeaking markers and the sound of brushes on canvas. This is  Art Open Studio.
At Open Studio you will find Mr. Goff, other students and a wide variety of art tools including paint, pencils, pens, markers and different sizes and textures of paper.
I asked Mr. Goff whey he started open studio. He answered, “I started open studio so students could have more time to spend on their art.”
Students love open studio. “I love it, I get to do a lot of cool stuff because Mr. Goff can pay more attention to me,” says EK Powe 5th grader Owen.
So, come to Art Open Studio if you want lots of fun and a chance to make amazing art!
